With a national chapter and local chapters, this organization for crime writers is a wonderful source of education as well as fellowship. If you are a mystery writer, I highly recommend joining!

MWSA is a society of veterans, service members, and family members who strive for healing through writing, and helping others write their stories as well.

MEA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose primary mission is to work with veterans and their families to publish short stories, essays, poems, and artwork in our bi-annual publication, As You Were: The Military Review.

Wounded Not Worthless is an online gallery art collection of female veterans, spearheaded by Army Major (ret) Christina Helferich-Polosky, the artist featured in Air Force Colonel (ret) Lisa Carrington Firmin's Latina Warrior poetry collection.
